COMFIED (The Company) builds digital shopping tools to buyers and vendors save time and money.
Request, Discount and Basket mobile apps, bots and APIs (The Apps) are services built and operated by The Company.
When you install and use The Apps, information collected, stored and processed includes the following: Mobile number, date and time of installation, version of device operating system, operating system language, mobile device unique identification, device screen size, in-app preferences settings, in-app theme settings, selected countries, selected cities, selected duty free shopping locations, history of app logins, posts made to the app, likes to posts by other users and replies to posts by other users.
The Apps do NOT access or store your age, gender, GPS location, contact list, Bluetooth settings, Wi-Fi settings or smart devices network information.
The Apps are designed and intended for use ages 13 and above.
The Company services provided through the Apps do not intentionally or knowingly endanger anyone. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the use and activities of their children during use of The Apps to ensure that child use does not occur without parental permission and supervision.
Whenever The Apps are used on a device connected to the internet, the user’s information described above will be captured and stored and retained in servers operated by The Company. Retention period of user information is unlimited, unless the user asks for deletion of their stored information.
Any user may ask for a copy of their stored information. Requests for data deletion and copy of data is done by sending and email with the user’s MOBILE NUMBER and VERIFICATION CODE (both displayed in the settings screen of The Apps) to the address: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Company may from time to time ask users, on a voluntary basis, to provide information on their experiences while using its services.
You own your information collected by The Company, and retain the right to request its deletion. However, The Company retains unrestricted rights to monetize trend reports and insights it generates by processing aggregated data collected from multiple users.
The Company uses data processing methods on information collected to generate anonymized location-based commerce insights for sale to market researchers, marketers and vendors.
The Company may publish aggregated, anonymized open data. In addition to the open data, The Company may disclose information related to the users if we believe such action is necessary to:
(a) comply with the law, or legal process served on us; or
(b) protect and defend our rights or property (including the enforcement of our agreements); or
(c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of The App or members of the public.
The Company earns revenue through paid subscriptions to market in-app market trends, accessed-via-API market insight reports and commerce consultancy services.
In order to provide the Services, The Company may transfer, process and store personal data in a number of countries or territories. The Company may also subcontract processing of information to third parties located in countries other than your home country. Information collected within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) may, for example, be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA, which may not provide the same level of protection for personal data as within the EEA.
